Music plays a very active role in our services. Our Sanctuary is home to a Steinway grand piano and a Hook and Hastings pipe organ.

We have two choirs that are open to all. The Hymn Choir meets at 10am on Sunday mornings and runs through the hymns that will be sung during worship that day. Sometimes the choir leads the hymns from the front of the Sanctuary, and at other times the singers spread themselves among the congregation. This is a ‘drop-in’ group and weekly attendance is not required. Our other choir rehearse on Thursday evenings between 7pm and 8.30pm. It performs more challenging music during the services and regular attendance is is encouraged. This choir performs on the third Sunday of each month.  Both choirs are open to singers of all ages and abilities, whether a member of the church or not – no prior experience is necessary. In addition, we welcome guest musicians into our services once a month, as well as enjoying musical performances from congregants who choose to share their talents during services.
